Care & staff
- What is the staff-to-resident ratio?
- How are medications managed?
- What training do care staff have? (Especially for memory care)
- How do they handle emergencies or falls?
Living spaces
- What is the room size and layout?
- Is the bathroom accessible (grab bars, walk-in shower)?
- Can residents bring their own furniture?
Dining & activities
- Can you sample a meal?
- How do they accommodate dietary needs?
- What activities are offered daily and weekly?
Costs & contract
- What's included in the base rate?
- What are add-on costs (care levels, medications, etc.)?
- What's the move-in process and deposit?
- What's the discharge or notice policy?
